Rockingham Stamp Show

The Fremantle and Districts Philatelic Society and the Mandurah Philatelic Society are joining with the Philatelic Society of Rockingham and Kwinana Districts to present the Rockingham Stamp Show at Koelbe Catholic College, Dowling St, Rockingham on Sunday 5th July 2009.

Plans include 12 dealer tables and an auction — Trevor Lacey is the auctioneer. Provision has been made for 500 auction lots with a minimum reserve of $5.00 and an allocation of 30 lots per dealer table and 15 per club member.

Dealers have been invited and any member who wishes to take advantage of a preferential period for dealer tables should notify the President before 30th March. Mike Kouwen (Fremantle Club) has responsibility for the Dealer Tables.

Each club will manage the quality and description of auction lots. 300 auction catalogues and flyers will be distributed. Members should be getting busy now with their proposed auction lots.

Mandurah club is in charge of displays.
There will be a total of 20 frames with 15 pages per frame. Exhibits should be with Glen Stafford by 27th June.

Those attending the Rockingham Stamp Show will be invited to vote on the best display.
